About me…

My undergraduate work at UMKC was in Sociology / Sex and Gender, and my Masters degree, from Roosevelt University in Chicago, is in Clinical Psychology. After a rewarding career in psychological and psychiatric research across the US, I returned to my hometown of Kansas City in 2018, and worked as an administrator for a small middle and high school, where I also taught Sexuality Education and Social Emotional Learning.

When that position ended, I wanted to continue following my calling of working with middle and high school aged kids, as that has been truly the greatest joy of my life.

I believe there is a critical gap in subclinical support services for teens. I’ve had so many families and clinicians encourage me to open this practice. Teens themselves aren’t always the loudest about what they need, but the teens I’ve told about the practice have also endorsed it as “actually kind of cool.”

I am beyond excited for this adventure!
