About me…
My undergraduate work at UMKC was in
Sociology / Sex and Gender, and my Masters degree, from Roosevelt University in Chicago, is in Clinical Psychology. After a rewarding career in psychological and psychiatric research across the US, I returned to my hometown of Kansas City in 2018, and worked as an administrator for a small middle and high school, where I also taught Sexuality Education and Social Emotional Learning.
When that position ended, I wanted to continue following my calling of working with middle and high school aged children, as that has been truly the greatest joy of my life.
I believe there is a critical gap in subclinical support services for teens, and have had so many families encourage me to open this practice! I am beyond excited for this adventure!
