Parent Support
Because We Said So offers parenting support in individual/couple sessions, or in small groups. The work of adolescence and young adulthood is differentiating oneself from the family, and that can bring up so many issues and feelings for the grownups of teenagers and emerging adults. Parenting support with Because We Said So offers a space to center and process those issues and feelings at a stage of life where time to center one’s own experience is hard to come by.

Small Groups
Small groups will meet on Saturday afternoons.
4:00 PM: Parenting Support Group
This group began as a space for parents whose kids are transitioning or questioning their gender identities. The group wanted to expand into general parenting support as we frequently discussed more general parenting issues. Please join us to discuss challenges and joys, and find community together!
